DESIGNBOARD 210

The calibrated gypsum fibre board

DESIGNBOARD 210 is used in all areas of high-quality interior design with very high creative design requirements. DESIGNBOARD 210 consists of a non-combustible carrier board made of gypsum fibre. Thanks to its classification as a non-combustible carrier board, DESIGNBOARD 210 is used for example for furniture making, as ceiling and wall panels or as a component of a system or of an OEM product. DESIGNBOARD 210 can be coated with HPL, CPL, real wood veneer or lacquer.

DESIGNBOARD 210 is excellently suitable for use in areas regulated by building authority requirements in which non-combustible composite materials are required.

Implementation

DESIGNBOARD 210 can be mounted with the Knauf Design sub-constructions split battens or DESIGNBOARD FIX.

DESIGNBOARD 210 can be sawn, milled, drilled, ground, clamped, nailed, screwed, bonded and filled with standard wood processing machines and carbide-tipped tools. Diamond-tipped tools furthermore extend the service life and are recommendable for high-speed machines. In order to prevent scratches, precautionary measures are required such as maintaining a clean workplace and working on the back of the board material. Suction units are recommended to reduce the dust development. Possibilities for surface processing: veneering, painting, laminating, varnishing.
