DESIGNBOARD 211 is used in all areas of high-quality interior design with very high creative design requirements. Thanks to its classification as a non-combustible carrier board, DESIGNBOARD 211 is used for example for furniture making, as ceiling and wall panels or as a component of a system or of an OEM product. DESIGNBOARD 211 can be coated with HPL, CPL, real wood veneer or lacquer.

Implementation

DESIGNBOARD 211 can be mounted with the Knauf Design sub-constructions split battens or DESIGNBOARD FIX.

DESIGNBOARD 211 can be sawn, milled, drilled, ground, clamped, nailed, screwed, bonded and filled with standard wood processing machines and carbide-tipped tools. Diamond-tipped tools furthermore extend the service life and are recommendable for high-speed machines. In order to prevent scratches, precautionary measures are required such as maintaining a clean workplace and working on the back of the board material. Suction units are recommended to reduce the dust development. Possibilities for surface processing: veneering, painting, laminating, varnishing.
